Two people have been arrested following a report of automatic gunfire near Towanda, Kansas, in relation to the incident. The driver of the vehicle is an already-convicted felon, identified as Dayton Smith, who was also a convicted felon. Police also found drugs, a modified assault rifle, and a handgun in the vehicle. The suspects are being questioned for their involvement in the investigation.
