Man arrested after firing at resident who confronted him during robbery in New Haven

An arrest has been made in connection to an armed robbery where a man allegedly fired two shots at a resident who confronted him. The incident occurred around 11:17 p.m. and no one was injured. The suspect, identified as 47-year-old Earl Hobby, was found in possession of a stolen handgun and is currently being held on $250,000 bail. The charges against him are pending.
