Despite this, temperatures are expected to remain cool and dry throughout the day. However, by Wednesday, high pressure will shift east and bring warmer conditions, leading to a surge in temperatures reaching the 60s and lower 70s. An installed frontal system is expected to move towards the region by Thursday, triggering scattered showers and possibly a thunderstorm across northern parts of the state. Despite a few showers early Saturday morning, most of the weekend will be relatively quiet.
