English brothers Matt and Alex Fitzpatrick have moved one shot off the lead at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, following a seven-under 65 in a PGA pairs event. The brothers were six shots behind overnight leaders Alex Smalley and Hayden Springer after a 64 in their opening round. They performed an eagle and six birdies, with only one dropped shot. Despite this, Matt Fitzpatrick has risen to number three in the world rankings following two victories on the PGA Tour this season.
