Arapahoe County fentanyl homicide suspect arrested in Columbia

Max Arsenault, a suspected homicide suspect in Arapahoe County for a fentanyl death, has been arrested in Colombia by Colombian Migration authorities with help from the FBI and U.S. Marshals Service. This arrest follows a two-month international investigation led by the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force and an ACSO officer. In 2000, Arapaha County deputies made their first homicide arrests of Arsenaults and Julia Weishaar, connected to the fentanyl overdose death of Nicholas Dorotik in ARapahoe county. The two were charged with 11 felony counts related to Dorotick's death in 2000.
