2026 RBC Heritage leaderboard, scores: Ludvig Åberg grabs first-round lead as Viktor Hovland finds his groove

Swedish golfer Ludvig Åberg took the first-round lead at the 2026 RBC Heritage with a score of 63 at Harbour Town Golf Links. This puts him one-stroke ahead of Viktor Hovland and Harris English at 8 under. The highlight of the round was his strong approach play and eight birdies. Despite some misses off the tee, Åber managed to connect from long range on three of his final five holes. Michael Brennan was among 10 players to earn their spot in this field due to a win in 2025. Former tournament winner Matt Fitzpatrick matched the number late thanks to birdies on three final four holes and only 20 official putts alongside world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler.
