The Real Housewives of Pretoria star Melany Viljoen and her husband Petrus, 57, were arrested by Boca Raton police on March 10 for allegedly shoplifting thousands of dollars of groceries from Publix. The couple were charged with larceny, totalling greater than $3,000, and each other being held on $10,000 bond. The alleged thefts allegedly occurred from August 2025 to March 2026. They allegedly used "ticket-switching" tactics to scan cheaper barcodes for the more expensive items they were purchasing, leading to the theft of over $5,300 worth of groceries.
