Patriots quarterback Drake Maye participated in Granite Telecommunications' "Saving by Shaving" event, which raised $4.15 million for Boston Children’s Hospital. Other participants included former Patriots offensive lineman Joe Andruzzi, WEEI radio personality Greg Hill, Quincy Mayor Thomas Koch, and Boston Children's CEO and president Kevin Churchwell. The event was part of a fundraising effort that Granite donated $2,500 for every person who shaved their head or donated at least eight inches of hair. Maye and his wife, Ann Michae Maye, have launched "The MayeDay Family Foundation" to help children and families in need throughout New England and North Carolina.
