Paramount has secured the rights to a new feature film set in the universe of Longlegs, starring Nicholas Cage and producing it. Osgood Perkins, who wrote and directed the original film, will write, direct, and produce the sequel. The film's producers are Brian Kavanaugh Jones of Range Media Partners, Perkins and Chris Ferguson, and Dave Caplan under his C2 banner. The details of the film are being kept under wraps. The sequel will be set in same universe as the first film, which delivered the best original horror opening year-to-date when it hit theaters in 2025.
