The CEO of the One Piece remake's Wit Studio, George Wada, has stated that the studio will eliminate filler and use modern techniques to adapt the series for a younger audience. The studio believes the 4:3 ratio could be restrictive for younger audiences and aims to create a more engaging experience. Wada also stated that this remake will combine visual enjoyment, strong storytelling, and flawless pacing. The announcement was made in an interview with Ai Show.
