The city of Bowling Green is planning to replace its wind turbines with solar power, with an estimated 80 acres of land set to be added to the ground. The new fields will be located on land leased from BGSU and Principle Business Enterprises, with panels from First Solar. If approved, construction is expected to begin later this year.
