European cyber agency leaders are reportedly feeling left out of Anthropic's unreleased AI model, Claude Mythos Preview, which has been seen as capable of super-hacking. The Dutch cybersecurity agency, Job Holzhauer, stated that the impact of the vulnerabilities found is difficult to verify without technical details. Meanwhile, the UK-based AI Security Institute has been able to test the model and has taken action based on its findings. An AI researcher named Laura Caroli suggested that it could be possible for the EU to be "sidelined" as the model is still unreleased.
