36 Print Hours With BambuLab's X2D Reveals Something New Alongside Something Old

Bambu Lab has introduced the X2D, a replacement for its original 3D printer, by replacing the X1 Carbon with some upgrades and compromises. The X2C is a fully enclosed machine made of metal, plastic, and glass, and has excellent build quality. The biggest difference is the number of nozzles, which have been replaced with a Bowden setup rather than a direct-drive system, which places them further away on the printer's body, reducing the load on the print head. The secondary nozzle aims to reduce waste and improve support for your models by loading support material into the right-hand nozzle that doesn't stick to the main filament. The price and size difference can make it compelling for those who don't have room for the giant machines.
