Chain Of 1,400 Cereal Boxes To Support Monmouth County Food Pantry

The Keyport Public School District will attempt its most ambitious "Cereal Challenge" on Friday, toppling a massive chain of at least 1,400 cereal boxes in a bid to support the Monmouth County Food Pantry. The effort has involved students from the National Honor Society, major donations from Keyport Bayfront Business Cooperative, Kiwanis, Apollo Plumbing, and Scholastic Books. The students have also participated in "shopping lessons" to increase their donation budget and awareness.
