68 Million AI Crawler Visits Show What Drives AI Search Visibility

A new analysis of 68 million sites hosted on the Duda platform has revealed that AI crawlers are increasingly interacting with websites at scale. The study found that most of these requests are related to real-time answers and most of all activity comes from a single provider, ChatGPT. Most crawling is now occurring in response to user queries rather than for building an index. This shift may change with Google's new Google-Agent crawler. The research compared sites with high-profile or heavily trafficked sites to sites that consistently allow AI systems to crawl them. Sites that allow AI crawling receive significantly more human traffic and are more likely to be crawled.
