Severe thunderstorms are expected for the Omaha area on Thursday afternoon, with a potential tornado watch expected for much of Eastern Nebraska, Western Iowa, and North West Missouri. The weather is expected to deteriorate further into the evening, with winds reaching up to 3035 miles an hour. A possible TORNADO WATCH is in effect for much areas, including the OMAHA and LINCOLN areas, until 7 P.M. A Red Flag Warning is in place for 1 or 2 TornADOES, which could potentially reach EF ZERO, ONE and TWO. The National Weather Center is also alerting to severe weather conditions.
