East St. Louis Flyers win their second state championship

The East St. Louis Flyers have won their second state championship, defeating Deerfield 52-46. This victory was the second under head coach Mark Chambers. Key players included 6’8″ senior forward Jamison White, who scored 19 points, 17 rebounds, four assists, and three steals. The Flyes advanced to the state championship game after a 59-40 victory over Chicago Leo.
