Democrat Trisha Calvarese has withdrawn from the primary race to face U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert in Colorado's 4th Congressional District, leaving one Democrat still standing. Despite having sued the retired rear admiral over her eligibility to compete for a nomination, she chose to support Navy veteran Eileen Laubacher instead. Laubaacher had been competing in local caucuses and county assemblies ahead of the district assembly, and was about five times wealthier than Calvearese with the cash on hand. The 4th District is considered the most Republican-leaning district in the state.
