Illegal migrant who entered under Biden charged with murdering Loyola student Sheridan Gorman

Jose Medina, an illegal Venezuelan migrant who entered the US under the Biden administration, has been charged with murdering 18-year-old Loyola University Chicago student Sheridan Gorman. Medina, who was originally detained at the border in May 2023, was released into the US after being arrested and released for shoplifting from Macy's in Chicago the same year. The maximum sentence to him is life imprisonment. The motive for the shooting is yet to be disclosed.
