The state of Texas will waive sales tax on emergency supplies during the Atlantic and Eastern Pacific hurricane seasons, starting Saturday and Sunday. The items ineligible for the tax weekend include items such as medical masks, tents, plywood, step ladders, camping stoves, gloves, camping supplies, chainsaws, batteries for automobiles, and cleaning supplies. For those unable to attend the weekend's sale, online purchases can be purchased between Saturday and Monday, April 25.
