New York Yankees' Max Fried, who led the team in wins and winning percentage in his first season with the team, has revealed his goal for the next season to be more consistent and avoid repeat of his previous bad starts. He had only three bad starts mixed into his 32 starts last season, including a three-inning, seven-runs in Toronto in the American League Division Series Game 2 that put the Yankees in an 0-2 hole in a best-of-five with the Blue Jays. Despite these losses, Fried remains committed to improving his performance this year, aiming for a 32-0 record with a 0.00 ERA, long outings every time, about 300 strikeouts and no walks. He also emphasized the need to adjust game plans and throwing more cutters than any other pitch.
