Mikaela Shiffrin won her 109th World Cup race, marking a record-breaking eighth slalom victory in one season. This victory over German Emma Aicher was her 72nd in slaloms. She can now claim the record at the World Cup Finals in Norway on March 24, where she can clinch a female record-tying sixth World Cup overall title. The only woman to achieve this feat is Austrian Annemarie Moser-Pröll, who is the only woman currently to do so.
