Fresno County authorities have arrested 29-year-old Austin Medford on suspicion of vehicle theft and arson. The alleged theft of a hay-harvesting tractor led detectives to discover a Caterpillar 950H wheel loader had also been stolen from the property. During the search, they found Medford with the stolen wheel loader and found evidence of arson. No injuries were reported and no structures were damaged. The stolen equipment is valued at approximately $180,000.
