Orange County murder suspect waives extradition, set to return to North Carolina

Matthew Vukmer, charged with first-degree murder in Orange County, North Carolina, has waived extradition and will be returned to Orange County. He has been held under a fugitive from justice charge since March 6 in the New River Valley Regional Jail in Dublin, Virginia. The case will be formally prosecuted by the District Attorney's Office of Orange County and will result in a significant loss to the victim's family.
