‘Stranger Things’ Animated Spinoff Gets One-Day Theatrical Preview

Netflix is partnering with AMC Theatres to preview the animated series Stranger Things: Tales From '85, which will air in select AMC cinemas on April 18. The preview will be held in 34 AMC theaters across 20 states, including the Netflix-run Paris Theater in New York and the Netflix House in Philadelphia. This is a smaller scale than the series finale, which played in around 600 theaters. The show is set in the winter of 1985 and is executive produced by Eric Robles and produced by Matt and Ross Duffer.
