Police Officer Miraculously Walks Away After Being Struck by Car During Traffic Stop

A New York state trooper was hit by a vehicle while performing a routine traffic stop on the New York State Thruway. The incident occurred during which a 24-year-old driver inadvertently rear-ended a patrol car, pushing it into the vehicle. The trooper was taken to Westchester Medical Center with minor injuries and later released. The driver was also taken to hospital for evaluation.
