PCLinuxOS, a popular Linux distribution ten or so years ago, is gaining popularity again, with a rise in popularity due to the rise of distributions like Linux Mint and elementaryOS. PCLinuxOS aims to make the Linux experience more accessible, especially for new users, and includes the MyLiveCD tool to create customized live disks from your installation. The distribution uses the KDE Plasma desktop, but still retains a hint of the old PC LinuxOS. It includes numerous preinstalled apps such as LibreOffice, MMEX Money Manager, Celluloid (movie/video player), Easy Flatpak Manager, Firefox, GIMP, GParted, Handbrake, NVIDIA driver installer, and more. The developers have chosen a dark theme as the default theme for the default app.
