Lucid Group, the manufacturer of the Air sedan and Gravity SUV, reported a 42% decrease in Q1 sales and a 0.5% decrease from the previous year. The company attributes this decrease to a supplier issue with its second-row seats, which disrupted deliveries for 29 days and led to a recall of over 4,000 Gravity SUVs. The issue has been resolved and Lucid is preparing to begin building its first vehicle on a lower-cost platform aimed at the mass market.
