On the episode of "The Daily Show," Jon Stewart made a joke about ABC pulling the latest season of “The Bachelorette” from its schedule due to the fallout between Taylor Frankie Paul and her ex, Dakota Mortensen. The joke came in response to a video showing Paul throwing stools at Mortensen while her ex was with her child. Disney Entertainment Television announced that the season would be shelved on March 19 following the leak of the video. The decision was made days before the Season 22 premiere on March 22.
