Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden has described his relationship with his wife Nicole Richie as "sacred ground" in an interview on Bunnie Xo's podcast. Despite being portrayed as a wild child in her youth, Madden believes Nicole Richie is the same person now as she was when he first met her nearly 20 years ago. He and Nicole, who married in 2010, have two children: daughter Kate, 18, and son Sparrow, 16. Madden and Richie now take caution in what they share with the world to protect their children from exposure.
