The Wilts and Berks Canal Trust has completed the restoration of a historic dry dock at Pewsham Locks near Chippenham, the first of its kind. The project was supported by sponsors from around the world and is set to be officially unveiled at a ribbon-cutting ceremony later. The longer-term goal is to restore the overgrown canal between Chippanham and Gloucester, allowing boats to use the historic waterway again.
