15-year-old baseball player dies after getting hit by line drive during practice

Bentley Wolfe, a 15-year-old high school student from Illinois, was hit in the head by a line drive during a baseball practice and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. He was declared brain dead and became a heroic organ donor. An autopsy revealed that he suffered blunt force trauma to the head. Students from the Vermillion Valley Conference and surrounding areas were encouraged to wear red or green to show their support for Wolfe.
