Danish director Karl Friis Forchhammer has produced a documentary about Copenhagen's (In)Famous Anarchist Commune, Christiania. The film explores the history of the 32-hectare commune, which was established in 1971 through occupation of abandoned barracks. The documentary, produced by Rikke Tambo, explores various aspects of the commune including its anarchic hippie culture, governance by consensus democracy, a biker gang attack, and efforts to shut down Pusher Street, which became "Denmark's most violent area." The film is set to premiere in the main competition of the 23rd edition of CPH:DOX, the Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival.
