The National Weather Service has issued a Scarf GIVEAWAY for early morning weather warnings for the Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday. Rain and thunderstorms are expected to move in later today, with temperatures reaching the 30S and potentially colder temperatures. The weather service will monitor several different types of weather conditions throughout the day, including on and off showers throughout the week. However, there is a significant risk of severe weather events, including severe storms and potential tornadoes. The National Weather Center is monitoring for severe weather conditions on both sides of the line, including a potential tornado outbreak on the lower end of the scale. The Kansas City area could see several rounds of rain and thunderstorming, potentially adding up to 2 to 4 inches of rain.
