A test conducted in the waters of Liberty Township's Mountain Lake has revealed that an algal bloom is causing a "moderate health risk". The National Association of Ger Ger Gergen is urging people not to swim in the water or eat any fish caught in the lake. The algal blooms occur when colonies of algae grow out of control and could potentially cause health issues for humans, fish, shellfish, and other animals.
