Nicole Daedone Sentenced in OneTaste ‘Orgasmic Meditation’ Case

Nicole Daedone, the founder of OneTaste, has been sentenced to nine years in prison for running a forced labor scheme that exploited vulnerable women. Rachel Cherwitz, the company's former head of sales, was sentenced to six-and-a-half years. Both women were convicted after a five-week federal trial. The company, founded in 2004, promoted "orgasmic meditation" and sold courses and retreats across major cities. The victims were allegedly pressured into performing unpaid work and performing sex acts with investors, clients and employees to benefit the business.
