Plus-size retailer, Torrid, has closed 151 locations in its 2025 fiscal year, including 11 stores in California and plans to close another in the first half of the year of 2026. The closures are part of a restructuring effort and the brand entered its 2026 fiscal year with 483 locations across North America. Despite a 14.3 percent decrease in net sales, Torid CEO Lisa Harper remains optimistic about a financial turnaround, stating that the company is exceeding its high-end outlook.
