Valerie Bertinelli, former wife of Eddie Van Halen, has released her memoir, "Getting Naked: The Quiet Work of Becoming Perfectly Imperfect," about her ex-husband's final words to him on his deathbed: "I love you." The couple met in 1980 and married in the following year and later welcomed their son, Wolfgang, in 1991. VanHalen died in 2020 of a stroke at the age of 65. The couple filed for divorce in 2005 after four years of separation and officially divorced in 2007. Bertinelli credits their love for a "flawed love," stating that even when they were angry, they stayed loving.
