The Kansas Senate has approved Senate Bill 254, which would require approval from Kansans to apply for state benefits. The bill would also void in-state tuition benefits for undocumented immigrants at Kansas colleges. If approved, the bill will align with federal law. It is unclear whether Governor Laura Kelly will sign the bill.
