The Pueblo Zoo has welcomed a new baby bison, named Nativita, who was born on May 1. The baby is already showing strong early signs of health, including being alert, walking confidently, and nursing. The calf's mother, Mathewa, also responded positively after birth. The zoo is currently displaying the baby biveniven.
