Amazon won’t release Fire Sticks that support sideloading anymore

Amazon has announced that its Fire Sticks will no longer support the sideloading of Android apps or any software from outside of its official app store. This announcement was made in an update to Amazon's website for developers. The company's new operating system, Vega OS, does not allow for the sidelowing of non-Amazon Appstore apps and requires an app that is already published in the Amazon Appstore to run on a Vega-powered Fire device. The news comes after multiple sources reportedly informed Lowpass that all future Fire TV sticks will launch with Vega.
