A federal lawsuit has been filed against Moncrief Bail Bonds in Orange County, alleging that the company's employees helped its owner, Russell "Bruce" Moncief, coerce jailed women into having sex with him in exchange for their freedom. The lawsuit was filed in federal court in Orlando after Moncrie Bail Bond founder pleaded no contest to a racketeering charge and will also pay $80,000 to his victims as part of a deal with prosecutors. All three women in the lawsuit were victims in his criminal case and are being represented by Lisa Haba, who represented two of them in that case. The company allegedly created a system where he exploited women facing charges related to drugs and prostitution. The system included secret code words like washing cars, cleaning houses and even licking eyebrows to refer to sex acts.
