Banijay Entertainment has announced a global scripted slate for Series Mania in Lille, northern France, featuring top U.K. shows including "A Woman of Substance," Jack Thorne's "Falling," and Richard Gadd's "Half Man". Other notable titles include "Wallander" with Gustaf Skarsgård and "Peaky Blinders," both of which are set to be part of the upcoming series and "Immortal Man" movie spinoff. The company aims to leverage the U.S. audience traction of “Woman of Substance’s” big bow on March 11, making it the most viewed Channel 4 drama premiere since “Before We Die” in 2021. The number of Banijay titles selected this year is a record, possibly a record.
