Danvers Bans All Outdoor Water Use Amid 'Extreme' Drought Conditions

The town of Danvers, Massachusetts, has implemented a Level 6 "Extreme" water restriction effective immediately due to low precipitation, low reservoir levels, and decreased river flow. The ban includes the use of sprinklers or irrigation systems, hand watering with hoses or watering cans, and washing of cars. The town urges all residents to conserve water to protect its water supply.
