Former EPL defender and family threatened with knife during home robbery in harrowing scene

Former English Premier League (EPL) defender, Jan Bednarek, and his family were threatened with a knife and robbed of approximately $177,000 worth of jewelry at their Portugal home. The incident occurred after they returned home from dinner with his wife, Julia, and daughter. They were not harmed and police were called. Despite his involvement in the incident, it appears that Bednenek has not commented on social media regarding the incident. He previously played for Aston Villa and played for the Polish national team.
