The Michiana Wine Festival is set for Saturday at Headwaters Park in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This year marks the festival's 10th anniversary, with 17 Indiana wineries participating and eight local food trucks offering barbecue, burgers, pizza and more. General admission is $40 with wine tasting and $15 without the tasting. The festival's co-director, Nichole Thomas, credits the support from the community, vendors, volunteers, and wine lovers. The event will also feature a four-day wine sale at LaOtto's Country Heritage Winery, celebrating its 15th anniversary with 15 wine specials. A farm-to-table concept is planned for a former 816 Pint & Slice space on Calhoun Street downtown, with chef Marcus Daniel hoping to open his Bridgeport restaurant this summer.
