The 2025 Draft, which did not include a second-round pick, has also shown promise, with seven players from the class now in the current Yankees Top 30. Jace Avina, a high school signee who began his pro career in 2021, was sent to the Yankees in 2023 in the Jake Bauers deal. Jack Cebert, a 15th-round selection from Texas Tech, is considered a potential breakout player due to his consistent success. Brock Selidge, a No. 15 prospect, had a pinched nerve biceps injury in spring, requiring surgery in September 2024.
