Conviction overturned for suburban Cincinnati man accused of murdering his baby

Joshua Mounts, a father from Sharonville, had his murder conviction for the death of his son, Jayce Fitzhugh, overturned by an appeals court. The court found that Mounts' attorney should have objected to improper comments by the prosecutor during closing arguments and the prosecution's testimony. The ruling also found that his first appellate counsel was ineffective. It will be up to the prosecutor, who was not in office at the time of the prosecution, to decide if Mountouse will face retrial.
