U.S. flagged products tanker Stena Imperative was hit by two projectiles in the port of Bahrain, causing a fire on board, which was extinguished. This is the first known U.S.-flagged vessel to be damaged since the start of U.K. and Israeli airstrikes began on Iran, which led to heavy retaliatory attacks on Gulf countries and Israel. The vessel's owner, Stena Bulk, did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
