Pueblo Health Officials confirm first 2026 child death from RSV

Pueblo County has confirmed its first pediatric death from respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), occurring in 2026. The virus can spread when an infected person coughs or sneezes and comes into contact with a contaminated surface. Public Health officials have urged the community to take precautions, including receiving the RSV vaccine.
